  心花〜kokohana〜
After graduation from the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, "kokohana" won the Best Prize in a Japanese traditional group contest in 2006. In that same year they had an overseas tour for the first time,where was in Korea. In 2008, their music was used in a new song for the anniversary of the opening of Seto Ohashi, and they had a recital in France, They were the first Japanese to have a recital in"Monet's Garden" and were given a great applause. They also composed a song for "The 26th Japan Greening Okayama Fair" in 2009.

ななえ（Nanae）
25 string koto, Lyrics & Music
Nanae learned the Koto and three string “sangen” from Kumashiro Misuzu, Saito Michihide and Ando Masaki. She won the Asahi Shimbun Prize among the junior high school students at the 36th Annual Japan Koto Music Contest, sponsored by Japan Koto Music Association, and the Osaka Mayo Prize in the general section at the 38th Annual Japan Koto Music Contest, sponsored by the same.She graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.

みぎわ（Migiwa）
25 string koto, Lyrics & Music
Migiwa learned the Koto and three string “sangen” from her mother, Hashimoto Harumi. She won the first prize and the Makimoto Prize among the junior high school students at the Japan Koto Music contest for elementary and junior high school students in 1991 and the first prize at the 6th Annual High School Student International Art Contest in 1999. She graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.

 About the 25-stringed Koto.
The Koto is a traditional Japanese stringed musical instrument derived from China in the Meiji period.Since then the Koto was spread to Japan.Starting in the 20th century,people wanted to have more musical depth and to express their feelings more freely.They invented the newvariations of koto by increasing strings from the traditional 13-stringed Koto to 17,20,and 25.
In order to express our musical thoughts,we,Kokohana,produce music for two sets of 25-stringed Koto.
